A resilience perspective on complexity and development

This note summarises discussions from a Global Resilience Partnership Learning Workshop held at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, February 2017.
Understanding complexity in a development context helps to highlight how: simple interventions are not enough, how dynamic and changing circumstances make surprises inevitable, and how changes in one part of a system can cascade up or down, changing the context.
